Anjou

Great medicinal and aromatic tradition

The quality of the light and its gentle climate make Anjou the garden of France.

With over 800 dedicated hectares, it’s also one of the main areas for growing aromatic and medicinal plants. The home of Roman chamomile and the head office of ITEPMAI (French research organisation for the development of perfume, medicinal and aromatic plants), Anjou represents a real centre of excellence and knowledge.

There, Herbarom has culture contracts and works with very fresh plants on site, thanks to its mobile distillation unit.
