GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) specifications apply first and foremost to producers of animal feedstuffs and additives (mixtures and/or ingredients), but also to companies that trade in or transport such products.
To guarantee quality and safety in the animal feedstuffs industry, the certification directives are based on a certain number of checks.
These checks focus on internal quality control procedures, the application of HACCP principles, compliance with national and European directives, the general control mechanisms in place (notably concerning identification, traceability and recall possibilities), and finally the minimum frequency of inspections.
The certification cycle is governed by the methods laid down in the ISO 9001: 2008 norm which covers a fixed period of three years, and comprises a preliminary evaluation, regular analyses and inspections (usually annually or semi-annually), and a final control inspection. At the end of this cycle, a recertification audit initiates a new 3 year certification period.
GMP certified since 2008, we can guarantee that we comply with all the regulatory requirements concerning the safety of human and animal life, and respect for the environment
