« Ostensibly the receptionist, I combine this role with switchboard operator, and many administrative tasks such as the mail, filing, archiving, catalogue printing, recording and managing CVs. In addition I control the flow of samples that the laboratory handles based on the sales team's requests. What I particularly like in this role is the variety of activities and the fact that I am in contact with almost everyone. And I am able to increase my professional experience by accepting from colleagues some 'sub-contracting' which enables them, if they are under pressure, to concentrate on their core activities. That feeling of contributing is something I enjoy both at work and in my leisure activities, especially with my volleyball team, where I am the passer. Having played for some twelve years in competition, and now just 4 for the pleasure of being with my team-mates, I have been able to appreciate what can be achieved by working together in a group where each person has his own role to play. Painting is my other way of relaxing and enables me to give free rein to my imagination and creativity. »
