Essential oils
This product is obtained from a vegetal raw material either by steam distillation or mechanic methods or by distillation.

Essential oils obtained by steam distillation
Distilled essential oil is obtained by steam distillation with or without added water in the pot still.

Cold-pressed essential oils
Essential oils are obtained from the epicarp of the citrus fruit by mechanical methods at ambient temperature.

Terpenes
These products, mainly composed of hydrocarbons, have the same methods of extraction than essential oil products. They are obtained either by distillation or by using the “concentration” method or by other methods of separation.
