Distilled (floral) water or hydrolat or aromatic water
This is the aqueous distillate remaining after steam distillation, once the separation with the essential oil is completed (definition according to AFNOR standard NF T 75-06 February 1998).

Natural flavoured water
The natural flavoured water is obtained by the aqueous soaking of an essential oil followed by a decanting phase to eliminate the insoluble substance.

Alcoholate or "alcoolat"
Alcoholate is a distillate resulting from the distillation of a natural raw material facing an ethanol (whose alcoholic degree can vary).
